DESCRIPTION:Trial and Theresa c/o Haus der Statistik \nA temporary project space by Trial and Theresa at Haus der Statistik\, accompanied by talks and lecture performances at aquarium \nTime Window installation at HdS\, visible 24/7 for the month of June\nPlace HdS\, Otto-Braun-Str. 70-71\, 10178 Berlin (ground floor) \nABOVE AVERAGE\nInspired by the rich history of Haus der Statistik\, “Above Average” consists of an ongoing video-sculpture in the window of Trial and Theresa’s temporary project space at the building\, using obsolete media\, such as tube-Tvs and monitors. \nInside\, the product of our collective thinking on the subject of cybernetics and data collection takes the form of visual loops. \nAlongside the installation\, two curated evenings with talks and lecture performances take place at our satellite location\, aquarium in June and July.\n\nAbout Modellprojekt Haus der Statistik:\nDas Modellprojekt Haus der Statistik wird von fünf Kooperationspartnern (Koop5) aus Zivilgesellschaft und Verwaltung kooperativ als Ort zum Wohnen\, Leben und Arbeiten entwickelt. Die Erdgeschosse des neuen Quartiers sollen dem Gemeinwohl dienen. Während der Planungs- und Bauphase wird die Basis dafür mit den Pioniernutzungen erarbeitet. Die Pioniernutzungen kommen aus den Bereichen Kultur\, Nachbarschaft\, Bildung\, Soziales\, Ernährung & Klima.
