DESCRIPTION:Why not a rhinoceros? \nSometimes a good question can be answered calmly. Sometimes the question involves a confrontation and we can only hope that we will be able to come up with something. \nLothar Frenz claims in his book „Nashörner. Ein Porträt.“ that this animal appears again and again in the history of art when a new age is in the making. \nIn the light and sound installation by Concha Argüeso sited in Zoologischer Garten vitrine\, we come face-to-face with the drawing of a stampeding rhinoceros. The illuminated animal shows its beautiful skin made of wax\, while at the same time making sounds. The rhinoceros seems to be in a hurry to jump from the past into the future. \nBut is it afraid\, is it angry?
