SUMMARY:TRANSFORMATION - Kunst zeigt den Weg zur Nachhaltigkeit
\nKünstler:innen:\nTom Albrecht (D)\, Jana Charl (US)\, María X. Fernández (ES)\, Mariel Gottwick (D)\, Stephan Groß (D)\, Alexa Helbig (D)\, Maria Korporal (D)\, Lilia Limiyan and Katherina Sadovsky (RU)\, Petra Lehnardt-Olm (D)\, Marina Resende + Graham Livingston (D/US)\, STREETWARE saved item (D)\, Jila Svicevic (EST) \nJury: Team GG3\, Kurator: Tom Albrecht\, Co-Kuratorin: Sandy Becker \nFinissage: 20.05.2022\nAusstellung: 02.04.

SUMMARY:BY EAR / Berlin
DESCRIPTION:Artist reception: May 13\, 6 – 10 pm\nExhibition Part 2 in Berlin: May 14\, 2022 – May 28\, 2022 \nEvents accompanying the exhibition:\nArtist Talk and Singalong: May 18\, 7pm\nInstagram Live Streaming via @axelobiger account \nGuided tour to the exhibition By Ear\nSaturday\, May 21\, 2022\, 6 – 7 pm\, free of charge\nThis event is part of the new Axel Obiger exhibition concept for 2022 \nWork by: Johanna Braun\, Vanessa Chow\, Vita Eruhimovitz\, Jacob Feige\, Laura Greengold\, Kirstin Lamb\, Michael Neimitz\, Liz Nurenberg\, Kari Reardon\, Jackie Rines & Chris Ulivo. \nConcepts by: Alke Brinkmann\, Thilo Droste\, Juliane Duda\, Nathalie Grenzhaeuser\, Harriet Groß\, Gabriele Künne\, Matthias Moravek\, Enrico Niemann\, Maja Rohwetter. \nA cooperation between Tiger Strikes Asteroid (LA) and Axel Obiger. \nIn music\, playing by ear is a term for performing a piece from memory and intuition rather than from a proper score. By Ear takes inspiration from this concept and uses it as a model for collaboration between visual artists from Berlin and Los Angeles/New York. \nDelayed for almost two years\, the exhibition at Axel Obiger Gallery will showcase works created by Los Angeles and New York based artists following concepts from Berlin based artists in the orbit of Axel Obiger. \nEach artist in the exhibition has made a new artwork based solely on audio descriptions of an existing artwork created by artists from the other city. It is an exercise in interpretation and imagination and willfully limited communication in an age defined by fluid and constant contact. It is a way for artists to be generous with their ideas\, diminish their ego and try to harmonize with a fellow artist from another culture. \nThis project has been generously supported by the Checkpoint Charlie Foundation.

SUMMARY:G.A.S-station\, Archiv II – aktuelle Impulse – Edin Bajrić\, Gravitation
