DESCRIPTION:Opening  \nThursday\, 12.02.2026      6:30 – 7:00 pm  \nThe artist will be present. \n  \nExhibition  \n13.02.2026 – 18.04.2026     24/7 \nA TRANS–Vitrine U–Zoologischer Garten\,  \nPlatform U9\, Hardenbergplatz in 10787 Berlin \nIn 2026\, the twentieth year since the founding of A TRANS\, and with gratitude for what has been created and experienced\, the overarching theme is A SistaBro-City. \nSista + Bro transform their circle of friends into a family\, a chosen kinship\, so to speak. This cool clique is the arena for negotiating matters. It’s about mutual understanding and respect\, relationships and soulmates\, closeness and trust\, about complicity\, alliances\, and above all\, about friendship that develops and can last a lifetime. \n  \n„We are all living in the gutter\, but some of us are looking at the stars” \n(Oscar Wilde\, Lady Windermere’s Fan\, 1892) \nThe installation BigSisnBro by Potsdam artist Karola Rückholz reflects on whom we choose as our supporters and how much support we find within ourselves. A unicorn and Pegasus\, gazing from the clouds\, seem to descend from the heavens into the depths of the subway. They look at us\, and we\, the viewers\, look back up. In the ideal image of older siblings\, they stand behind us\, no matter what we do or what happens to us. \nKarola Rückholz presents the magical unicorn and Pegasus\, the creator of the source of creativity\, in a place of transition and movement.
