DESCRIPTION:Madness and Practice\nLiz Dawson + Lucy Teasdale \nSaturday\, Feb 7\, 2026\, from 6 pm\nFinissage + Artist Talk\nIncluding an artist talk at 6.30 pm\, moderated by Ilyn Wong \nThe talk will take place in English\, but questions in German are welcome. Tea and cake will be served \nWith Madness and Practice\, painter Liz Dawson and sculptor Lucy Teasdale present new works that stage a quiet conflict between apparent intuition and rigorous construction. The title suggests a persistence that may register as futile or even obsessive\, but is in fact an unflagging attentiveness to process\, repetition\, and control. Throughout the exhibition\, surfaces and gestures promise immediacy while quietly betraying the labor and artifice beneath them.
