Small sized portraits, modeled and formed by hand and thereby based on cell phone photos – these are SELFIESANALOGUE. In this increasingly digital age, these sculptures set an analogue counterpoint. The small sized format allows the artist to approach his counterpart in a very playful way. Because that is exactly what a portrait in art should try to achieve: to come as close as possible to the essence of a person.

Marcus Golter lives and works as a sculptor in Potsdam.
