Am Freitag, 14. April 2023 um 19 Uhr eröffnet die Ausstellung ICH ICH ICH im KUNSTPUNKT BERLIN, Schlegelstr. 6, 10115 Berlin-Mitte.
Die Ausstellung versammelt die Beiträge zweier Berliner Projekträume: Crystal Ball und stay hungry.
Das Netzwerk freier Berliner Projekträume und –initiativen gibt basierend auf einem Open Call ausgewählten Projekträumen und –initiativen eine Plattform.

ICH ICH ICH

Der Open Call zum Thema ICH ICH ICH fragt nach dem Künstler:innen-Selbstbild und seiner/ihrer Inszenierung vor dem Hintergrund der aktuellen Situation in allen gesellschaftlichen Bereichen. Konkurrenz versus Solidarität, was ist das bessere (Überlebens-)Modell?
Dank Selbstreflexion, ironischer Brechung und der vielfachen Thematisierung des Topos scheint das Künstler:innen-Bild als „Genie“ mittlerweile obsolet zu sein.
Oder gehört eine gewisse Egomanie als unabdingbare Berufsvoraussetzung, oder manchmal auch Berufsdeformation, eben einfach dazu?
Die beiden Projekträume Crystal Ball und stay hungry beteiligen sich an der Debatte mit per-formativen Ausstellungsprojekten …künstlerisch, kritisch, interaktiv und humorvoll.

Crystal Ball: ICH bin ICH
Ausstellungs- und Performanceprojekt, Video, Installation, 2019-2023 von und mit Pas de Costumes, Caren Sielaff, Miriam Jadischke, Berit Schneider, Stefan Ruf, Zoe Tomruck, Lydia Karstadt, Natascha Frioud, Gabi Garland, Frank Schoppmeier und weitere.

In der Ausstellung ICH ICH ICH im Kunstpunkt zeigt die offene Künstlergruppe Pas de Costu-mes zum ersten Mal den Film „Ich bin Ich“, die offizielle Dokumentation des Projektes um die fiktive Künstler-Persönlichkeit Arielle Schuberti. Die Uraufführung wird mit einer Installation von übrig gebliebenen Kunstwerken der Künstlerin Arielle und in einem einleitenden Happening der Performancegruppe begleitet.

stay hungry: Mobile Menu #14 – Eat the Artist

Ausstellungs- und Interventionsreihe, 2023 von Michel Aniol und Meike Kuhnert mit Çağdaş Çeçen, Laura Fiorio, Bhima Griem, Tomoko Mori, Marco Schmitt und Xiaoyu Tang.

Die unabhängige nomadische Projektinitiative stay hungry hat das Mobile Menu #14 – Eat the Artist entwickelt, um die Debatte um das Genie kulinarisch und künstlerisch in einer mehrteiligen Interventions-Serie im Kunstpunkt Berlin zu untersuchen, die im Zeitraum vom 14.04. bis zum 01.05.2023 zweimal wöchentlich stattfinden wird. Die sechs Künstler:innen sind für je einen Abend eingeladen ein kulinarisches Selbstporträt zu erschaffen, das anschließend zum Verspeisen angeboten wird. Die Künstler:innen sind aufgerufen dieses Thema mit interaktiven, humoristischen und kulinarischen Aktionen zu kommentieren.

On Friday, April 14, 2023 at 7 pm the exhibition ICH ICH ICH opens at KUNSTPUNKT BERLIN, Schlegelstr. 6, 10115 Berlin-Mitte.

The exhibition gathers the contributions of two project spaces from Berlin: Crystal Ball and stay hungry.
Netzwerk freier Berliner Projekträume und -initiativen e.V. provides a platform to selected project spaces and initiatives based on an open call.

ICH ICH ICH
The open call on the topic ICH ICH ICH asks about the artists‘ self-image and its staging against the background of the current situation in all areas of society. Competition versus solidarity, which is the better (survival) model?

Thanks to self-reflection, ironic refraction and the multiple thematization of the topos, the image of the artist as a „genius“ now seems obsolete.
Or is a certain egomania simply part of the job as an indispensable prerequisite, or sometimes also as a professional deformation?

The two project spaces Crystal Ball and stay hungry participate in the debate with performative exhibition projects …artistic, critical, interactive and humorous.

Exhibition and performance project, video, installation, 2019-2023 by and with Pas de Costumes,

In the exhibition ICH ICH ICH at Kunstpunkt, the open artist group Pas de Costumes will show for the first time the film „Ich bin Ich“, the official documentation of the project around the fictional artist-personality Arielle Schuberti. The premiere will be accompanied by an installation of leftover artworks by the artist Arielle and in an introductory happening by the performance group.

stay hungry: Mobile Menu #14 – Eat the Artist

Exhibition and intervention project, 2023 by Michel Aniol and Meike Kuhnert with Çağdaş Çeçen, Laura Fiorio, Bhima Griem, Tomoko Mori, Marco Schmitt and Xiaoyu Tang.

Based on thoughts about the genius, stay hungry developed Mobile Menu #14 – Eat the Artist to explore this debate in a culinary and artistic way through a multi-part intervention series at Kunstpunkt Berlin, which will take place twice a week from 14.04. to 01.05.2023. Each time one of the six artists is invited to create a culinary self-portrait for one evening, which emergence can be observed and joined by the audience and will be offered to be eaten in a communal meal. The artists are invited to comment on this topic with interactive, humorous and culinary actions.
